Episode 2 - Data Protection - Wednesday 29th August

As part of his PhD research examining Science Fiction in Live Performance, award-winning writer/director Stephen B. Platt is staging a season of seven one-hour radio plays between August and September of 2018. @lantis is a serialised Science Fiction radio play that follows the exploits of a team of researchers who live in an underwater city populated by scientists.

This week is Episode 2 - Data Protection. "Newly-appointed Captain Dorothy Goddard’s adventures in Ponderlust Laboratories continue as she meets IRIS, a sassy teenaged Artificial Intelligence created by Professor Quine to help them in the lab. IRIS might be a super computer able to complete thousands of tasks at once, but her skills inevitably suffer when she becomes distracted by a boy."

Run time for all episodes is between 60 and 90 minutes.

Starring the vocal talents of Nicola Brescianini, Murray Jackson, Tegan Mulvany, Max Rankin & Nic Doig. Featuring Jacob Wehr-Murphy, Susannah Grey, Kate Willoughby, Ellin Sears, and Vee McGuire.
