About the event
As part of his PhD research examining Science Fiction in Live Performance, award-winning writer/director Stephen B. Platt is staging a season of seven one-hour radio plays between August and September of 2018. @lantis is a serialised Science Fiction radio play that follows the exploits of a team of researchers who live in an underwater city populated by scientists.
This week is Episode 1 - Fish Out of Water which sees Security Officer Dorothy Goddard reassigned to the mysterious Ponderlust Laboratories due to budget cuts. When a monstrous creature breaks out of the lab it'll take all of Dorothy's wits and imagination to keep it contained - and to not get fired in the process!
Run time for all episodes is between 60 and 90 minutes.
Starring the vocal talents of Nicola Brescianini, Murray Jackson, Tegan Mulvany, Max Rankin & Nic Doig. Featuring Kate Willoughby, Rhys Hyatt, Ella Ewart, James Jury, Ron Arthurs and Vee McGuire.
